Description
Schizostachyum cornutum (also called horned bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to Southeast Asia. It is a clump-forming bamboo with culms that are up to 8 m tall and 2 cm in diameter. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in wet mountain forests.
Uses & Benefits
Schizostachyum cornutum is used for making furniture, flooring, and other wood products. It is also used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments such as fever, headache, and skin diseases.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
