Description

Sasa oblongula (also called 'Oblong-zasa', among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to Japan, Korea and China. It is a low-growing, clumping bamboo species that typically grows to heights of 1-2 m (3-6 ft). It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade and is often found in grasslands, open woodlands, and along roadsides.
