Description

Pseudosasa viridula (also called Virid Arrow Bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to East Asia. It has a clumping growth habit and can reach heights of up to 6 m (20 ft). Its culms are yellow-green with dark green stripes and its leaves are lanceolate. It grows in open forests, thickets, and along roadsides in its native range.
