Description
Poa suavis (also called soft bluegrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to Europe and western Asia. It is a perennial grass with a height of 10–30 cm and is found in grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands.
Uses & Benefits
Poa suavis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks. It is also used as a source of food and forage for livestock.

Poa suavis has small, bright blue flowers, with a single seed in each flower. The seedlings are short and slender, with a single seed leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Poa suavis is a perennial grass native to the Himalayas. It can be propagated from seed or division. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining, sandy soil mix in a warm, humid environment. Division should be done in the spring or fall and the divisions should be planted in a moist, well-draining soil mix.
