Poa nubigena (also called Cloudy Meadow-grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass found in Asia. It has a creeping rhizome and erect culms that reach a height of 15-50 cm. It is found in shady places, such as woods, hedgerows and shady banks, and is usually found in moist soils.
Uses & Benefits
Clinopodium speciosum is used as an ornamental plant and for erosion control. It is also used as a food source for livestock and wildlife.

Poa nubigena is a low-growing, tufted grass native to the mountains of Europe and Asia. It has narrow, bright green leaves and is tolerant of a wide range of soil types. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. Propagation is by seed or division. Seeds should be sown in spring or early summer in well-prepared soil. Division can be done in spring or fall.
