Description
Piptochaetium fimbriatum (also called Fringed Feathergrass, among many other common names) is an annual grass native to the Americas. It grows to a height of 10-30 cm and has a slender, erect stem with a few branches. The leaves are linear and flat, with a fringed tip. It is found in dry, sandy soils in open areas, such as prairies, meadows, and roadsides.
