Description
Peyritschia vulcanica (also called Vulcan peyritschia, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Arecaceae family. It is a small to medium-sized palm, growing up to 8 m tall. It is native to Central America, where it is found in Costa Rica and Nicaragua. It is found in lowland and montane forests, as well as in grasslands.
