Description
Pentameris capensis (also called Cape Pentameris, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Africa. It is found in grasslands, woodlands, and open forests, and grows to a height of up to 1 m.
Uses & Benefits
Pentameris capensis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and is also used in traditional medicine to treat fever, headaches, and stomach aches.

Pentameris capensis has a bright yellow flower with yellow petals. The seed is small, round and black. The seedlings are thin and green.
