Description

Panicum turgidum (also called turgid panic grass, among many other common names) is an annual grass species native to the southeastern United States. It has a tufted growth habit and grows to a height of 0.3-1.2 m. It has a fibrous root system and grows in moist soils, particularly in meadows and along streams.
