Panicum haplocaulos (also called Single-stalked panicgrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to South America. It is a perennial grass that grows up to 1.5 m tall, with long, flat leaves and small, light brown flowers. It is found in wet areas, such as swamps, marshes, and riverbanks, from southern Colombia to northern Argentina.
