Panicum dorsense (also called back-awned panic grass, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to North America. It is a perennial grass growing to 0.3 m (1ft) by 0.2 m (0ft 8in) at a medium rate. It is found in dry, open woods, prairies, roadsides, and disturbed sites. It is drought and heat tolerant.
