Description

Nassella pungens (also called Pungent Needlegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to South America. It has a dense, tufted habit and grows up to 1 m tall. Its leaves are narrow and have a sharp point at the tip. It is found in dry grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas.
