Description
Nassella melanosperma (also called Texas needlegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It grows to a height of 1 to 3 feet, with a clumping habit and narrow, green leaves. It is found in dry, sandy soils and open woodlands.
