Description
Muhlenbergia stricta (also called Wirestem muhly, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the southeastern United States and northern Mexico. It grows to a height of 2 to 4 feet, with a clumping habit and narrow, green leaves. It is found in dry, sandy soils and open woodlands.
