Description
Muhlenbergia cualensis (also called Cual Muhlenbergia, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as in forests, woodlands, and along streams. It has long, narrow leaves and produces small, white flowers.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Muhlenbergia cualensis has small, yellow-green flowers and small, black seeds. The seedlings are thin and delicate, with narrow, grass-like leaves.
