Description
Merostachys fischeriana (also called Fischer's Merostachys, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the grass family, native to India and Southeast Asia. It is a clumping bamboo, growing to 4–6 m tall, with a culm diameter of 2–3 cm. It prefers moist, shady habitats.
