Description

Maclurochloa tonkinensis (also called 'Tonkin maclurochloa', among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Central and South Asia. It grows to a height of up to 0.5 m and has a soft, succulent stem. Its leaves are oblong-lanceolate in shape, with entire margins. It is found in open grasslands, savannas, and disturbed areas.
