Leptochloa squarrosa (also called Squarrose Beaked-grass, among many other common names) is an annual grass species native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Old World. It is a tufted grass with erect culms and long, flat leaves. It is found in open, dry habitats, such as grasslands, savannas, and roadsides.
