Description

Leersia angustifolia (also called Narrow-Leaved Rice, among many other common names) is an annual grass native to tropical Africa and Madagascar. It has a tufted habit and grows to a height of up to 70 cm. Its leaves are linear and up to 10 cm long and 1 mm wide. It prefers moist, shady habitats such as rainforests and woodlands.
