Description
Koeleria vallesiana (also called alpine hairgrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to the temperate regions of Europe and North America. It has a tufted growth habit and can reach up to 0.5 m in height. Its leaves are green and have a distinctive waxy sheen. It is commonly found in grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands.
