Description

Koeleria tzvelevii (also called Tzvelev's June grass, among many other common names) is an annual grass native to Europe, Asia and North Africa. It is a tufted grass with short, narrow leaves and erect stems that are up to 30 cm tall. It grows in meadows, pastures, grasslands and other open habitats.

Koeleria tzvelevii has been used in traditional medicine for the treatment of fever, headache, and rheumatism. It is also used to make furniture, paper, and rope.
