Description
Ischaemum vembanadense (also called Vembanaad False Oat, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Africa and the Middle East. It has an upright habit with long, thin, arching leaves that form a dense canopy. The plant is found in dry grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas.
