Description

Indocalamus tessellatus (also called Chinese Bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to China, Japan, and Korea. It is a deciduous perennial grass, with a clumping habit and a maximum height of up to 8 m (26 ft). It prefers to grow in moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade.
