Description
Hymenachne patens (also called water grass, among many other common names) is an annual grass native to tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It grows up to 1.5 m tall and has a cylindrical stem. Its leaves are flat and have a sharp tip. It grows in moist, open areas such as wetlands, swamps, and floodplains.
