Helictotrichon sempervirens (also called Evergreen Oat Grass, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to Europe, North Africa and temperate Asia. It grows in meadows, pastures, and along roadsides, and is a popular ornamental grass. It has an upright habit, with narrow, arching leaves and a tuft of evergreen flower spikes in summer.
