Description
Guadua paniculata (also called Panicled Bamboo, among many other common names) is a perennial grass species native to South America. It is a clumping bamboo with long, narrow leaves and long, spiny culms. It is found in wetland habitats, such as riverbanks, marshes, and swamps.
Uses & Benefits
Guadua paniculata is used in construction, furniture, and musical instruments, as well as for fuel and paper production. It is also used to make boats, canoes, and rafts.
