Description

Gigantochloa densa (also called Giant Bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to Southeast Asia. It is a large, evergreen, clumping bamboo with culms up to 30 m tall and 8 cm in diameter. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in open grasslands.
