Description
Gigantochloa albovestita (also called Giant Rattan, among many other common names) is a species of climbing palm native to Southeast Asia. It is a large, robust, and spiny palm, growing up to 20 m tall. It is found in lowland and hill forests, and is often found in disturbed areas. It is also found in mangrove forests.
