Description

Gigantocalamus malpenensis (also called Malpensa Giant Cane, among many other common names) is a tall, solitary grass that can reach heights of up to 10 meters. It is native to South East Asia and can be found in tropical rainforests, cloud forests, and dry forests. It has long, stiff leaves that are green to yellow-green in color and are arranged in a fan-like pattern.
