Description
Gelidocalamus latifolius (also called Gelidocalamus latifolius, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the grass family. It is native to China and is found in open woodlands and grasslands. It is a perennial grass with thin, upright stems and broad, linear leaves. The inflorescence is a panicle of spikelets with awns.
Uses & Benefits
Gelidocalamus latifolius is used in traditional medicine for treating fever, headache, and skin diseases. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks.
