Description
Fargesia daminiu (also called Daminiu Bamboo, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to China. It has long, narrow leaves and grows in open meadows, grasslands, and disturbed sites.
Uses & Benefits
Fargesia daminiu is used in landscaping for its attractive foliage and for erosion control. It is also used as a cover crop and for soil stabilization.

Fargesia daminiu has small, yellow flowers, which are arranged in a spike-like inflorescence. The seeds are small, dark brown, and have awns. The seedlings are thin and have long, narrow leaves.
