Eragrostis lepidobasis (also called lepidobasis lovegrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass species native to South America. It is found in grasslands, savannas, and disturbed areas. It has a tufted growth habit and its leaves are linear and flat. The inflorescence is a panicle with spikelets that are 2-3 mm long.
