Elymus serpentinus (also called serpentine wildrye, among many other common names) is a species of grass in the Poaceae family. It is native to western North America, from British Columbia to California, and east to Montana and Wyoming. It is found in serpentine soils, such as those found in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
