Elionurus barbiculmis (also called Bearded Foxtail, among many other common names) is an annual grass native to Africa, Asia, and Australia. It grows in a variety of habitats, including disturbed areas, roadsides, and grasslands. It has a tufted habit and grows to a height of up to 0.5 m.
