Distichlis laxiflora (also called Loose-flowered Distichlis, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to South America. It grows in moist meadows, wet prairies, and along streams and rivers. It has a slender, upright stem and narrow leaves. It produces small, yellow-green flowers in loose clusters in the summer.
