Cultivation and Propagation

Digitaria ventriosa can be propagated by seed or division. When propagating by seed, sow the seeds in a well-draining soil mix in a warm, sunny location. Keep the soil moist but not soggy and the seeds should germinate in 10-14 days. When propagating by division, dig up the plant and divide the root ball into several sections. Replant the divisions in a sunny location with well-draining soil and keep the soil moist. The divisions should take root in a few weeks.
