Digitaria melanotricha (also called Black-Haired Fingergrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It has a clumping habit and grows to a height of up to 1.2 meters. Its leaves are long and narrow, and its flowers are small and yellow. It grows in a variety of habitats, including dry grasslands, open woodlands, and disturbed areas.
