Description
Deschampsia venustula (also called Lovely Hair-Grass, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to Europe, Asia, and North America. It is found in wet meadows, marshes, and wet tundra. It grows to a height of 15-50 cm and has thin, flat leaves. The flowers are small and greenish-brown, and are arranged in a spike-like inflorescence.
