Deschampsia boyacensis (also called Hair Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to South America. It is a tufted grass with flat, linear leaves, and its inflorescence is a panicle with two to four racemes. It grows in meadows, pastures, and roadsides, and is found in most of the United States.
