Description
Dendrocalamus manipureanus (also called 'Manipur Bamboo', among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to India and Myanmar. It is found growing in moist, tropical forests at elevations of 500-1500 m. This species has a clumping habit and long, narrow leaves. The flowers are small, white or pinkish, and fragrant.

Dendrocalamus manipureanus is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant. It is also used for its wood, which is used to make furniture and other wood products.
