Description
Coix gasteenii (also called Gasteen's Job's Tears, Chinese pearl barley, adlay millet, and coixseed, among many other common names) is a species of grass native to Southeast Asia. It is a perennial grass with a short, thick stem and long, narrow leaves. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as forests and riverbanks, and is often found in disturbed areas, such as roadsides and fields.
