Chusquea acuminatissima (also called Acuminatissima Chusquea, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Mexico, Central America, and South America. It is a clumping bamboo that grows to a height of 10-15 feet with culms that are 0.5-1 inch in diameter. It prefers moist soils and full sun to partial shade.
