Description
Chrysopogon verticillatus (also called Whorled Grass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. It grows in sandy soils and is commonly found in open grasslands, savannas, and disturbed areas.
Uses & Benefits
Chrysopogon verticillatus is used as a fodder and for soil stabilization. It is also used as a fuel and for making mats and baskets.
