Chimonocalamus baviensis (also called Bavian Bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to East Asia. It is a medium-sized bamboo, growing up to 5 m tall. It has thin, green stems and small, oval-shaped leaves. It grows in moist forests, at altitudes of 0-1,500 m.
