Chimonobambusa convoluta (also called Coiled Bamboo, among many other common names) is an evergreen perennial native to East Asia. It has a thick, woody stem with long, narrow leaves and can grow up to 10 feet tall. It prefers moist, shady habitats and can be found in forests, gardens, and other areas with plenty of shade.
