Calamagrostis montanensis (also called Mountain Reed Grass, among many other common names) is a species of grass in the Poaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean region, from Morocco east to Turkey. It is a perennial grass, growing to 0.5–1 m tall. The leaves are alternate, 10–20 cm long, with a rough texture.
