Calamagrostis anthoxanthoides (also called Yellow Reed, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. It is a tall grass, growing up to 2 m in height, with narrow, flat leaves and small, yellow flowers. It is commonly found in wet meadows, marshes, and along the banks of streams and rivers.
