Description
Bromus tectorum (also called cheatgrass, among many other common names) is a species of grass in the family Poaceae. It is native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. It is an annual grass that grows in meadows, grasslands, and disturbed areas.
Uses & Benefits
Bromus tectorum is used in erosion control and forage for livestock. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
