Description

Bambusa xiashanensis (also called Xiashan Bamboo, among many other common names) is a tropical and subtropical evergreen bamboo species native to India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. It is a clumping bamboo, growing up to 10 m tall with culms up to 5 cm in diameter. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, moist deciduous forests, and wet mountain valleys.
