Bambusa subaequalis (also called Equal-Sized Bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to China. It is a clumping bamboo, growing to a height of 8 m (26 ft) with culms up to 4 cm (1.6 in) in diameter. It prefers moist soils in full sun or partial shade and is hardy to USDA Zone 8.
